Koha for meals - Eating together is great for building community! If you'd like to put a gift towards food each time we eat together this would help us. $2 should cover it.
On the issue of money, we realise that for some families the cost of some of our events could be off-putting, especially if there is more than one child attending. We will aim to keep the costs as low as possible, but please let one of us know if cost is a concern for you as we would hate for anyone to miss out. We have received some generous offers of financial assistance for young people who may need it.
We will endeavor to keep things simple by making church the departure point for "away" activities. If any parents are willing to be available once in a while with driving to our destinations, this could be a great help.
Journeying together - as well as having fun together (which is a gift from God that has its own value) we'd like youth group to be a place where we can grow together in understanding and valuing each other, and in knowing God.
