Community Art AuctionAre you an artist or crafts person, or do you just dabble?
We are planning an Art Auction to profile and promote our local artists and crafts people, and to raise funds for our Church Earthquake Strengthening Project. The Auction will be held in St Paul's Church Hall, Sometime in June 2017, date to be fixed later. This is an advanced Invitation for you to contribute one or more of your splendid art or craft works for the auction, giving you time to plan and prepare something. We'd love to have you as part of the action at our auction! The auction will be a social, fun occasion, commencing at 7 pm With viewing time, drinks mainly soft, knobbles yummy, socializing and background live, local music, then moving into the auction at around 7.45. It would be wonderful if you could be part of this event. You can either exhibit your work with 30% commission of sale price going to our fundraising project, you can donate a piece of your work to our event, or you can mix these options. We are happy whichever way you prefer. We’re also happy to work with realistic reserves. Please reply to this invitation as soon as possible, so that we can scope the project and finalise our plans. Or you can complete the Acceptance Form at left. If you have any artistic friends whom you can persuade to contribute an item, that would be great too, please pass our message on to them!
