Take the YouTube?
There are many ways to access God. We always recommend Scripture and prayer first, but music, movies, poetry, art and a thousand other things can help us understand God in new and exciting ways. Take a look at the links below to see some contemporary Christian bands, YouTube clips and the occasional family movie review. And if you discover anything you want to share then don't hesitate to let us know! |

Free Will?
Many young people are fascinated by the idea of free will. Do we really have it? Is it a good thing or a bad thing? What does it mean to take responsibility for your actions? What might life look like if we gave up our decision-making to someone or something else?
In 1993 Lois Lowry wrote a book called The Giver which went on to win many awards and was recently made into a film. It follows the journey of an 11-year-old boy who lives in a world where most decisions are made for him, and not just for him but for everyone.
If you want to tackle 'free will' (and some alternatives) as a family then this is a great place to start.
